Mothers Day

Mothers Day

My Mom, to you I write tonight,
To tell you all the things I might.
How much I miss you, way out here,
How much I love you, you’re a dear.

For me this is a very sad, sad day,
Because I’m so far away.
My love for you will never fall,
You’re the most wonderful Mother of all.

Mom, you’re the one I love the most,
To all the others I can boast.
I can tell them of the things you did,
To care for me when I was a kid.

I’ll always love your smiling face,
No one can ever take your place.
And even though I’m far away,
I’m thinking of you on your day.
