Mother's Day
I won’t let the world, pollute you so.
I love you too much, that’s why you must go.
I’m sorry mom, you’re all that I’ve got.
I can’t just sit here, and watch you rot.
I need to help you, to set you free.
This is not, where you need to be.
Heaven is waiting, up in the sky.
But in order to get there, first you must die.
I’m sorry it has, to end this way.
But your health gets worse, every day.
The cancer is spreading, at a quickening pace.
I’ve got to get you, away from this place.
I can’t think, of a better way.
Than to send you off, on mother’s day.
Please don’t cry mom, please don’t fight.
I know in my heart, what I’m doing is right.
Eyes wet with tears, I brought the knife down.
Her last breath of life, was the only sound.
