Mothers Day

Mother’s Day

Another Mothers Day has again come around,
A card or flowers from Me can never be found.
So I write you a poem that’s bound to astound.
I hope it arrives before your eyesight has drowned,
Or your tired old bones are buried in the ground.

It should make you laugh and make you smile,
I’m sorry it’s taken me... let’s say a little while,
To remember to show you I care in such style.
Though it’s a shame sometimes my rhymes are quite vile.

I love you Mum and I want you to know,
I’m happier now that I’m able to show,
With all the **** I’ve done my brain can still grow.
I remembered today from wow!! a week ago.

Happy Mother’s Day
