~##~Motherhood~##~ I am carved out of your skin Eyes, nose and ears akin I am nourished with your blood Cradled with love even when in flood I am schooled at the expense of your sweat Only for which I thrived to the best get Many a time I have used harsh word To justify what it felt right to a nerd You did me wrong But I forgive only for that melancholy song Only for that lullaby You sung while lactating me as a baby Unaware I was A favor, it never was Must have been an appreciation For the nine months creation I know, only you can forgive my whine And you will, for all moms are divine For I am a part of you And contain me inside you I am carved out of your skin Eyes, nose and ears akin You are my mother -puvi- (11/11/2015)

I am trying to read the work of fellow poets that comment on my writing. You wrote in a straightforward manner. You used words that were intense and bold. Your words and sentence pattern delineates the tone, rhythm, and passion of your writing. The end rhymes emphasize your thoughts and feelings. The repetition of the fist and last lines clearly defines this special relationship; from this moment on, you are mother and child. Your poem touched my heart. I was blessed to review your poem.
