Mother of Pearl

The mother of pearl,i think will portray
the inside and depths, to my outlay
from my loving nature, and i do care
the pearl gives off all that`s there.

It`s sublime inner beauty, does shine through
sparkling colours,silver,gold through to blue
also a calming effect from this rare gem
reflecting what i have, a loving lifestyle, once again.

Hiding inconspicuously in its` shell, `til it is found
a lovely lady owner, then love is bound
to esculate as true, as the beauty it provides
from all the seas, to the oceans wide.

Dear Paul, I do love sheen and opalescent quality of pearls. Indeed, so many colors sparkle in its luster. Your last verse is so compelling; these beauties hiding in shells until love claims them. Says much about life. Excellent entry for Catie's contest and I wish you success! Love, Carolyn
