Mother Heartbeat

***************
You start life in a transparent, brittle yolk,
Underwater uterus, pulsing with mother heartbeat.
Reeling consistently, ostentatious in your cloak,
Gossamer, in your mother womb, comfy seat.
Ready for air by evolving in this glass soak,
Yarn umbilical cord pulls you out of the peat.
