Mother Earth

Poem: Mother Earth

Mr Steel,
is
asleep....
(for now),
It's
long crane
neck,
lay
silent
on the
ground -
Its
Shovel-like
mouth,
with
huge steel
teeth,
await
to
devour
Mother Earth -
Tomorrow
will
come,
when
the Sun,
rises
a
restless
dawn.
Mr. Steel,
will
crank
up
once more,
to
gouge
and
destroy
all-things
in
it's wake,
as
Mother Earth
breath
a sigh
of
sorrow-
How long
before
Hills,
Mountains,
valley's,
and
streams,
all
disappear-
What then?
