Mother Earth
The wolves howl
And silently prowl
In the tears of the silver moon
She sings along
To their mournful song
She dances in the gloom
When daylight comes
Still she hums
She smiles in the morning light
She sways with the trees
And plays in the breeze
She watches eagles take flight
She walks on the land
Puts her toes in the sand
She is full of gentle mirth
She swims in the sea
Is graceful and free
For she is mother earth.
