Mother At Thirteen
when I was younger
I grew up to be mother
of child when I was thirteen
look down upon
from a lonely pond
no one tried to help me
I was lost and bearing a child
my adolescences was taken
I ask to myself
was I been mistaken
I was brought up by my mother
to always be stronger
but yet today I feel even smaller
I was beaten, humiliated and even made a shamed of
why does the male counterpart
never is the blamed one ?
but today is the day
we I stand up with my daughter
tell my myself this
I will be stronger
not just for me but also for my daughter .
