Mother

Mother, oh mother of mine Brave woman, please don’t you start to cry I cross oceans, just to see you smile Mother, oh mother of mine Beautiful woman, you who gave start to my life I walk among evil men, just to see your eyes Mother, oh mother of mine Kind woman, who took care of me when I was a child Taught me to be strong, gentle and kind It is you my mother, that shall never leave my mind You are the queen of this world, an angel in disguise Mother, oh mother of mine Gentle woman, please don’t you start to cry This world was so cruel to you and I So I run just to see you smile I run, I run with all my will and all my might I run…I run because I’m tired Tired of their wars, tired of liars Mother, oh mother of mine Don’t you start to cry, as long as you breathe, I shall be fine Mother, oh mother of mine I love you with all my soul and mind… Mother, oh mother of mine Take my eyes in a world that is blind I can not stand to see you cry, nor can I see my land on fire My people suffer, mother my chest is so dire I need to run, I need to run from an endless desire to give my life and soul for my own and into the darkness retire I only fell in love once mother, and it was then when my heart expired When the rivers flowing from my eyes turned dry Mother, oh mother of mine… I wish to find peace in your arms Where you could shelter me from harm Where my soul and chest would be calm Where I could breathe, where I could only breathe mom Mother, of mother of mine
