Mother
My mother... She stands tall
and holds her ground. With a
smile of a million dreams. I love
when you are happy. Even when
you are feeling down. You tell
me always to never give up. So
I keep pushing forward for you.
The thought of me growing up.
And leaving you for the first
time will hurt. But I will always
love you no matter what. Her
hair blows with the wind. As her
heart beats for the one she
loves. Giving her all when all
else fails. The day when tears
falls from your eyes. Will be the
day I kiss you goodbye. You will
be pleased in me. For your
heart will have no worries. The
love you have has always stood.
Not only for me but others as
well. Without you lord knows
where I would be. I thank him
every night. For the blessing he
has given me. Even in the end
of time. When the sun fails to
rise. There will be this light.
Shining on all to see. I love you
this is true. From my very
heart. To yours to keep. Kissing
you on the cheek my mother.
