Moth

Mirage of gauzy wings, Makes a path near gold flames. Mesmerized... it prances Mystically around Moonlit torch: the lure of Magic casts quick danger... Marking butterfly's end. 4/22/2017 Pleiades M Contest for Kim Merryman

Tells a great story - also a metaphor for dangerous temptation. Congratulations on your win Nette! :-)

I can feel the wings catching on fire from the beginning. When we dance too close to the "flame", falling for the magic and not sensing the danger...you have captured all in your lovely poem! Congrats, Nette 7 and save!

Brilliant verse--every line leading to a strong , fatal attraction of a "moth to a flame."

Beautifully written Nette. I have some of the most gorgeous moths that visit my yard in the evening. Just as beautiful as any butterfly, maybe not as colorful but still amazing wing patterns. Loved your poem my friend.
