Mosaics Class - Day 2

Day 2 in my mosaics class,
I started to improve,
For once I had a subject,
I could get into the groove.

I sketched an owl like Flaco,
Who was known in Central Park
And it seems that all I needed
To get going was a spark.

Special tools helped cut the tiles,
Which I glued onto a board
As the project started taking shape,
Progression my reward.

I always get a feeling of accomplishment when I complete a project, whether a translation of an ancient Roman's poems (like Martial) or a long narrative on a serious subject. / Maurice

I'm happy for you. Flaco is a fantastic model. I'm sorry he's gone, but will live forever in your mosaic. I enjoy hearing about your hobbies.
