Morning View

I walked my dog today. And on my refreshing way I met... 1 balding man with the sun reflecting on him, 2 aging ladies with smiling wrinkly faces 3 children running so fast their feet don't touch the ground 4 Springer Spaniels tails wagging, bounding and panting 5 daffodils waiting for the honey bees 6 sparrows darting weaving and teasing my dog 7 oak trees, looming over me and making me nervous 8 sun rays beaming through the lazy cloud 9 leaves swirling, racing to be the first to the ground 10 minutes rest, as I take in the morning view

I really like the "list" format on this poem. Makes me wish it was nice enough out where I live to go for a walk... The tenses are mixed up a bit though, I would change "makes me nervous" to "making me nervous." (Also, this reminds me of the evil trees from The Wizard of Oz!)
