Morning Prayer

A whisper on the breeze
A voice remembered well
Sun kisses these cheeks
Meditating here a spell

Tiny spot lights dance
Behind these closed lids
His presence now I feel
“Speak to me” He bids

Laying down these cares
At the feet of this friend
Knowing that He’s there
His forever never ends

Humming hallelujah!
Rejoicing in His grace
Longing now to see Him
In that heavenly place

Honored by His presence
In this dwelling He abides
Peace becomes the master
In this vessel He resides

Living through the moments
Life has tossed my way
My strength is found in Jesus
Every moment, every day

Dear Debra, where did you go? I knock on your door, but you never show. I'm sad without you, you didn't say goodbye. And I'm just left wondering why.
