Morning Joy Comes Near
Morning joy cones near
Dispelling long night’s fear;
Hope rising within me
To set me free.
Heavy heart awaits
Relief from burdens.
Arise! Awake!
New day does not forsake;
Promises given;
Held tight by faith
Through long night’s journey
And fires burning.
Morning joy comes near
With promises held dear.
Persevere;
Love’s healing grace
Will not disgrace
When dark night ends;
Hold tight by faith.
Hold tight by faith!
