Morning Greeting

Even though your bones creak
When you stumble from bed
Thinking, in the fog of the morn
What kind of day lies ahead?

With a splash of cold water
The morning routine complete
It’s then off to the kitchen
To find something to eat.

Crusty flaky and warm
It sits waiting for me
The morning now complete
A scone with my tea!

Hello, Good write really, no need for changes but if it were mine... You start off in the third person then change to the first. In many instances this can be used to great effect. However in this short work I would be tempted to have it first person all the way.
