Morning Glory Sky

Is there a place I can sit and listen to the years
Of the things we done together
I feel the fear
That binds my heart
Because you’re gone forever
Could I find you
Just for a time
Let you know how I appreciate your life
this distance tears my mind
nothings promised but im
still emotional

when I sit still
I look up at the sky
And imagine now you can fly
And the glory of your new state makes me cry
To know you escaped
Every pain
Innate to life
So in your death
Something else is birthed on this earth
We cannot see
but while I drift here
you’ll sit
beside me
and bid me to watch the sun rise
through your eyes
its everything
I’ve never realized
Your alive
Just somewhere new
And when I seize that dark
Take that infinite walk
You will be there too
On the other side of time
Where life’s untold story
Shines
And
Shines
