Morning Glory

Every morning, I open my eyes,
god's glory is shown upon me.
Again I'm able to live. and witness all,
having the ordain will, to be free.

Happy with a smile on my face, given the chance,
to spend with people, I truly, hold dear.
Knowing on this very day, my god, is there,
and whatever I face, there is nothing to fear.

Realizing, no one, is promise tomorrow,
grateful am I, for the amount, of time, I now keep.
Every night I pray to my lord, thanking, and submitting,
rest assured, as he watches me, while I sleep.
