Morning Glimpses

MORNING GLIMPSES

showering
         sudden daddy
                 those impossibly thready legs

morning coffee
cat intrudes
sugar in its fur

out the kitchen window
snow lingers
on one flat rooftop

coffee    and
       wonderful morning quiet
shattered!      by rock
