Morning Body Check

'Morning body check'

As slowly wake full body check
Stomach churning
Stabbing neck
Eye lids flicker
Heart rate quicker
Hips are quaking
Weak legs shaking
Head fills with the power of freight
Feeling sick now
Arms dead weight

Try to force me on my toes
But 'ha' it laughs, seems body knows
There's no strength left from painful night
Nowt left in me to bring the fight
Body heavy feels like lead
Another daytime lost to bed
As eyesight fades
From restless daze
Can't seem to move
From 'neath the haze
