Morning Blues

Mornings here and I must say
The daylight hurts my eyes
The sun's so hot apon my face
There's stinging in my eyes

Waking up I do not like
For morning's aren't my thing
My head it hurts, it craves more sleep
My ears an endless ring

Aches and pains I fight right now
Though slowly they will fade
All right then, I'm getting up
At least my coffee's made

I'll face this day the best I can
I know it will be long
Grumpy yes, I know I'll be
Until that Sun is gone
