Morning Bliss

Like dew on the grass of an early morning bliss With the presence of the sun as it warms you with a kiss Birds singing with laughter lingering in the trees Nature starts to wake while morning mist begins to leave Flowers start their glow of beauty and essence With scents of lilac omitting it’s morning presence You find yourself meandering about this lovely day Taking in all it’s beauty hoping it never goes away Winds starting to pick up helping trees lose their leaves Scents of freshness withering throughout the air Calming your mind and body making you feel at ease It’s hard to explain this presence engulfed around you This tranquility of pleasure in being one with nature Intuitive temptation with an everlasting relation Forever and forever Such a beautiful creation

I’m flattered! Now being 42yrs old and as well as writing since I’ve been 16 if I can make anyone feel the passion and emotions I’ve done my work. I am still nervous about putting my poems out there because I’m putting my heart and soul into this. Btw I really enjoy your work also!

I’m flattered by your thoughts and comment. If we can make someone’s day better by them reading our work then I feel we’ve done our job. I tend to write love poems as I feel I can relate to them better. I’ve been writing since I was 16 and literally have notebooks filled but lately I’ve been trying to get my work out there for others to read. Someday maybe it will turn into something. Thanks again and enjoy your day
