More Time

With a long, hazy gaze
I knew the images in your head
How peculiar thought,
An instinct I didn't comprehend.
And we were too engrossed with time
somehow looking far and away,
I imagined your peach-like nape
Flushed like a blooming petal
Softly lifting my eyes,
and wishing for another taste of more days.
