More Then a Dream

A girl wakes up from a dream The tears in her eyes are clear to see She calls the boy on the phone She knows he's still at home "Honey" she says to him "Baby it's late" he says "I know, but I had a dream" He sighs and says "What about baby" "You know I love you, right?" she says "I love you too baby" he says "I dreamt you left me alone" she say "You know I never would" he says "But that's what you said in the dream" she says "Baby it was just a dream" he says "But that's what you said before you left" she says "You said it was just a dream" she says "I thought that's what we were talking about" he says "We are" she says "Baby what do you mean?" he says The girl starts to cry though "Baby what's wrong?" he asks "You said to let go of our dream" she sobs "You said it was just a worthless fantasy" she cries "And then you left" "Baby i don't have time for this" he says "I'm going to sleep" he says "It was just a dream" he says "It'll get better, just go back to sleep" he says And then the phone went dead She whispers the last few words To the now silent phone "Guess you were right, it was just a dream."
