More Than Breath
your soul brings tears to my eyes
how could you see from so far away how i ach to die
and tell me to rise up from the ground
to change my face from this sickening frown
this tragedy that lies within my heart
that i am just another part
and no one sees the true me
no one sees inside of me
who am i?
a creature like the rest
with problems that seem to hold me back
and i seem to stand alone
hurting to my core
broken to the bone
where is my life
the things i see
i need to believe
and not just breath
