Cut my lies and scream
Cut my life and die
Sometimes I'm alone 
I can't breathe.

Moonlight shocks the daylight
The darkness closes in
Darkness beats the night
Now where to begin.

I don't know how to tell you the love I feel is real
If you only knew the pain
This shocks me once again
You'll never know the truth
You'll never know the sadness
It suffocates my fear
Display this decay 
Don't look silent 
This pain will fade 
Alone in quiet.

I'm not     
Take me down 
I'm just not over you
Take my heart,
I'm not     
SCREAM!

Derrick Burton August 31, 2008 at 3:53 PM great poem and really, you have the chance to get out situations like this, as far as you being young with so much hurt, when I was a kid my big cousin owned a school and so I worked there and all the time I traveled the states going to various churches and conferences, THAT SAVED ME AS FAR AS THE SOUL those days though I wasnt deep into with feeling as now, but I remember and it sticks with me today. find a church LOL all that just say that.
