More and More

more often now
I find two cokes open
at the same time

because the reader may have to determine a definition of their own for "more often", this may be modern haiku. What do you think. The "cokes" are really not the resoning behind modern or pre modern. It's where the poem stands on it own merit or whether the readers indiviual senses determine the meaning. Rather, how each individual interprts "more often" Maybe "more often is simple ambiguous. discussion please welcome.

I guess Haiku is about nature, so then, why not human nature. I take an inhaler for my lungs - the action is so automatic I forget i've taken it. Getting old. Congrats on the selection. daver

After a some time now I have gone back and do not believe is ambiguity in the poem. "More often now" lets the reader know that now I am older and the reason for the rest of the poem.

In the U.S. haiku is having change which may or may not be a good thing depending on one's own particular view. Btw, nature can include the nature (or natural) of trees and animals, man and ideas and the surreal, or the imagination, depending on ones interpretation. How does apply to haiku? Is up to you, and the preponderence of all other haiku writers.
