Moral of this Story

Matty Milksop thought about joining the military
Don’t make us mirthful said his cousin, Jerry.
You would be terrified of basic training
on everyone’s ideas he was always raining

Matty enlisted in spite of Jerry’s negativity
He’s currently an admirable in the US Navy
Moral of this story is plain, said my pal Wade
Don’t let a naysayer rain on your parade
