Moonspeak

Know that we are one.
Without the Sun I am dark.
Together we are one light.
Your eyes see the light and you are one with it.
We are one.

I had to stop by for this read, especially when i saw your avatar. My sister has a real love of owls. She even opened her own website and has an owl in her domains first page. I so agree with what Vie has said below, We are all ONE!!!!

"Will you set aside your love of light and wrap me in the night. The dark can be a warm comfort while the sleeping take refuge in the sands of time". . .you wrote a beautiful piece

I love it! I love the way you've mentioned the consequence of the absence of the Sun. It's easy to take things like that for granted and relationships have to be actively worked upon to succeed. Nice write Walter!

Very similar to a tanka. I like the simplicity and brevity.
