Fibonacci Poetry Contest Sponsored by Ink Empress 01/20/24

We are strolling by moonlight. Soft silver shadows glow on an inky blue ocean I love how they sparkle and glisten like tiny stars Pirouetting gracefully as prima ballerinas with the ocean as their stage

This is absolutely beautiful dear Jan. Stunning imagery created with your skilled chosen words. You are so, so good with these short forms. Much conveyed here. I especially loved the last line,’ with the ocean as the stage’ - glorious! Keep them coming! Hugs xx

Dear Jan, this is stunning i love the cosmic vibe in this and the ethereal flow of your lines, so very descriptive and well crafted with beautiful imagery. I can see through your words woven in such eloquence, moon rays, pirouetting and the ocean as their stage, what a creative way to deliver moonlight shadows. I Felt like you’ve described my view right now: congratulations on your win: well deserved: thank you for sharing

You have written an excellent Fibonacci, and it is so smooth flowing. Jan. I also enjoyed Moonshadow ... you took me back nearly half a century ...the year Kirsty was born! ~ Regards to all and hugs // paul

Nice how you take a simple scene and expound upon it. We are so lucky to have beautiful scenes like this and the opportunity to read what you do with each one.

You've created a stunning image Jan, nothing more peaceful than a moonlight stroll. Good luck in the contest Tom That song took me back, 1970, yikes over 50 years ago.

I thought the song was perfect to go with the poem, we havent been out walking at night as i was knocked for 6 with the virus before Christmas and then the weather has turned wintery and tonight we have yet another storm - I am sitting looking at the sea - it is wild tonight and the ferry has been cancelled yet again ! hugs jan xx
