Moonlight on Meadows
Moonlight on meadows,
The unseen is out of the shadows,
On a tranquil night,
I feel inspired to write.
The stillness of the night is a moment in time
when nature is mystic and sublime,
A time when the night speaks,
A time when the deep reveals what’s hidden.
Twilight summons the moon,
The elements respond and are in tune,
The night takes away its veil,
Mysteries set sail.
I search the deep,
There’s a turbulence I can’t keep,
I look into the sacred books,
I anticipate redemption’s call.
