Moonlight
The full Spring moon it brightly shone
Creating shadows deep and long
Covering all with a silvery light
Bringing daytime to the dark night
Summer moon with warm breeze
Bringing lovers to their knees
Embracing, touching on the ground
With moonbeams dancing all around
With ease I walk ‘neath Autumn moon
Its pull will get me home quite soon
I feel so light beneath its glow
My being lifted by its magnetic flow
The Winter moon lights all below
Reflected on deep winter snow
Turning icicles to jewels bright
To sparkle on this winters night
The Lunar sky is free to view
There’s no subscription to renew
A wealth of beauty waits us outside
On this beautiful moonlight eventide
