Moonflower

We showcased our hearts and wounds to each other in hopes we would stick around to see better shapes. I didn't get to trace all of you with my fingertips, unfortunately you shredded some pages that you tore out of our book and kept not all the details in one place. But the story of us can't exactly be erased. You see, the narrative I have is right in front of your face. I guess it goes to show I took us more seriously. Maybe I was actually a placeholder for her. And you can twist the words and dim the light on my growth. But don't forget that I am a moonflower, and I grow at night in the darkest of the hours.
