AUTHOR'S NOTES:  The rhyming ABAB Couplet on this write:  "Moon Light . . . Moon Night," is actually the fourth poem I've written in succession to three other previous poems I posted during August-September, to wit:  "Cosmic Dust," "Rainbow,"and  "Star Light . . . Star Night."  This latest write on "Moon Light . . . Moon Night," is thematically similar to these other three poems, and touches yet on another continuing aspect of the so-called "God Theme" in the Universe.  As with the other three like poems, I thoroughly enjoyed writing this particular poem, while further considering and analyzing the ethereal concepts pertaining to certain heavenly and celestial images that have the poignant ability and capacity to excite and enthrall the poetic imagination in most readers who have similar metaphorical and symbolic interests.  I do hope you enjoy reading this poem as much as I did writing it.  Enjoy!!  (Gary Bateman - October 19, 2014)  (Rhyme Couplet poetic format)

We hold hands walking under the bright beam of God’s Moon Light, And stop and kiss so intently in the soft cradle of the dark Moon Night. The passion and rapture together we feel so on this cold black night, Is reflected and majestically warmed by the touch of the Moon Light. I look lovingly into your eyes on this quite special dark Moon Night, Marveling at the love so reflected in your eyes by the Moon Light. This is an enchanted sight to behold by All who love the Moon Light, Reflecting the beauty and meaning while savoring all the Moon Night. A deep Cosmic Blackness pervades the canvas of this great Moon Night, While God’s grace and love pleasure us with a most bright Moon Light. Almighty God in Heaven gently modulates the tone of this Moon Light, Bringing constant wonder and glory to All on this most dark Moon Night. My love and I now understand the mystical meaning of this Moon Light, As we ponder and hold so special God’s emotion felt on this Moon Night. I love the imagery in this poem. It sets just the right atmosphere for a romantic story. I also enjoyed the repetition of the words, "moon light" and "moon night", in every couplet. Such an elegant write, Gary!.... I am going to add you to my favorite poets, as well. You are a very talented writer! Keep up the excellent work!

Kelly, Thank you so much again here for your wonderful words. I also like to read the extraordinary quality of poetry that you write as well. I just happen to still be up here in Germany working, writing, but heading off to sleep very soon. I do like to do these alliterative writes with the touches of assonance and imagery. Best!! Gary

Charma . . . Thanks for your read here. I like these kind of writes too. The experimentation with assonance and alliteration for me is a lot of fun and to express the theme in a meaningful, understood way. I will have some more of these in the future. Thanks for the FAV too!! Best Wishes Always!! Gary
