Moon Goddess
She walks when the
moon is full
Her face illuminated
by moon - light
She cannot bear the
light of day
She comes alive only at night
Moon Goddess that she is
She knows about
the darker path
One dream away from
oblivion
She haunts the fields and
small villages of our land
Let's not forget that we
are mortal
But the lunar lady is not
She glows under the
light at night
Waits for her demon lover
To embrace her
Before bitter sunrise
shatters the myths
of night
and she must hide
her face
from the sunny beams
of day
