Moon Glow

Have you ever seen the full moon rise?
Stood on the edge, looked up, and cried?
It's glowing brilliance drenching my face,
my open palms-
with iridescent grace.
The nightingale's song is low and sweet,
My starlit musings echo your laugh.
Upon the morning, when the sky is red with defeat,
I know our time has come to pass.

A lovely poem Sophie. Lost in beauty of creation but reality always returns.
