Moon Face

Shine down
Mother moon
so high
in the sky
watching

silently
shield me
from nightmares
and beasts

you frighten
these ghouls
as I sleep

I wake
and behold

your moon face

Ann, you have done a marvelous job on this new CharlieKu form. I liked it so much, I was grateful that you added the pattern, so I could see what it is. Wow! A darling write, and so true. The moon is like a favorite relative that gives us hope in the spookiest times.
