MOODS OF NATURE - THE Dark Forest

MOODS OF NATURE - THE Dark Forest..........

In the deep dark forest,
Many tales can be told,
Surrounded by hundreds of trees,
From young trees to the very old.
The thunder storms then rapidly appear,
Branches lashing around, and trees falling,
Leaves suddenly dancing and violently swirling,
Whilst the wild wind is roaring!!!
Roots desperately clinging to the earth, 
Rain heavily pouring down on the withering bark, 
Lightning strikes, like  it's a curse!!! 
The howl of the pack of wild wolves, 
Gives such a tremendous fright!!! 
Would you dare to enter the dark forest at night???

One line in particular that stood out for me is, ‘ Roots desperately clinging to the earth’. I’m sensing a real fight to hang on for survival. I love the way your poem flows and so many lines stood out for me especially “ Branches lashing around, and trees falling, Leaves suddenly dancing and violently swirling, Whilst the wild wind is roaring!!!” can see through those words really!
