Mood of the Moment

Optimist
          Hopeful, joyful, enthusiastic
          Fulfilling, exciting, thriving,
       Mentor, leader, enemy, naysayer
         Anger, sadness, depression
   Draining, energy-stealing, exhausting
                      Pessimist

Thank you. I thought, hey, what about being an optimist and a pessimist as they are so completely and utterly opposite in my book. An optimist can walk into a room and change everything! As can a pessimist. Sigh.

Sometimes even the most optimistic person can be drawn into someone elses negativity which is why like attracts like. Your poem clevely attests to my theory! This poems sends a profound message! Wonderful Caren! : ) Have a Happy Halloween! xxoo

Happy Halloween Connie. This can be me sometimes going from one extreme to another. I think we are all guilty of both.

WOW, you words that are the strongest ever, the good words, the hopeful ones the sad ones, the positive ones, you showed us the reality of what we go through daily, fighting with them, try to change, crying, laughing, It’s really amazing Caren, such strong beautiful words. Much Love Terry xoxo

This made me think of how very quickly my mood can turn depending on who I am surrounded by... whether I am built up & encouraged to thrive- or saddened, exhausted & drained. Wonderful (and important) work, my friend! ;)

I steer so clear of these people, because they can have me lying prone, with not enough energy left to lift a spoon.
