Monkey, Monkey

MONKEY, MONKEY – NURSERY RHYME
Monkey, monkey up a tree Will you come and play with me? My brother’s at school so I’m all alone And there aren’t many games I can play on my own. Monkey, monkey up a tree, If you come and play with me, I’ll let you share any toys that you like; I’ll even let you ride my bike. Little boy, little boy down on the ground, I would be with you on one bound. But mummy says I have to stay Up here in the tree all day. Monkey, monkey up a tree, I can’t come to you, you can’t come to me. So, if that’s how it has to be, We’ll just have to talk till it’s time for tea. 16th March 2021 Nursery Rhyme 2 poetry contest Sponsor - Eve Roper
