Monkey, Monkey
MONKEY, MONKEY – NURSERY RHYME
Monkey, monkey up a tree
Will you come and play with me?
My brother’s at school so I’m all alone
And there aren’t many games I can play on my own.
Monkey, monkey up a tree,
If you come and play with me,
I’ll let you share any toys that you like;
I’ll even let you ride my bike.
Little boy, little boy down on the ground,
I would be with you on one bound.
But mummy says I have to stay
Up here in the tree all day.
Monkey, monkey up a tree,
I can’t come to you, you can’t come to me.
So, if that’s how it has to be,
We’ll just have to talk till it’s time for tea.
