Monday I'M a Lady

Monday I'm a lady
     Tuesday I'll be a fish
   As for the weekend
     Paul Bunyan, if I wish

   My friend is Mickey Mouse
     His brother's Donald Duck
   Turn around and they'll be soldiers
     Or maybe pick-up trucks... 

   Were our parents worried
     Not a bit, you see
   We were all so lucky ~
     born in 1953

I have seen not only the attention span but imagination a rarity in children of late.I read children should not be exposed to tv before two as the rapidly changing visual does something to the brains wiring.How many are plopped in front of a t.v. Or computor screen soon as they can sit up.Pathetic.Children are born for reasons having nothing to do with loving or nurturing them.Enjoyed Gershon.

imagination is magic, I love to look and listen to children playing especially if they are alone. Today is Monday and I am sweet sixteen again when families seemed to be more united than they are today, and children had toys bought for them at Christmas and birthdays, without feeling deprived of anything by amusing themselves and having fun.
