Mon Amour Perdu
You loved me good, you loved me bad
you loved me with everything you had
and now there's nothing more to give
how's our hearts supposed to live
we were so happy for a time
but grew too busy to see the signs
that came so suddenly from behind
oh how could we ever be so blind
so here we are apart and blue
I never thought I'd be without you
but life goes on as they say
I guess nothing is meant to stay
I thank you for the joy we shared
and all the times you really cared
but now it is time to move on
and find our hearts a brand new home
I wish you well
