My mom remembers/ visiting her grandpa’s grave/ with fresh dahlias. … She never met him/ but she heard they’re his favorite/ my grandma told her.

Thanks Lewis :) I wanted to write it out longer to share more of her memory with imagery, but this is the main thing she remembered. So far, just a couplet— but you gave me an idea! :D To also turn it into a haiku since it’s nature-y… next I’ll post another reply with the haiku. :) It’ll look like it’s the first comment hehe. Anywho, since it doesn’t have to rhyme, I snuck extra info in the haiku. ;) Okay thanks again and God bless you too with His Almighty amazing grace. :)
