Happy Mother's Day to all Moms! ♥

Moms

Moms are special folks with no other quite as dear;
For her child she'll face anything regardless of her fear.
Her children are her life, her purpose, and her reason;
Her Love is never out of style nor in need of any season.

She gives every day from her heart and her soul,
Knowing well the importance and privilege of her role.
Her children, for the world she wouldn't ever trade;
For they are her blessings from God, He made.

Although the cord is cut upon her child's birth,
The bond of her Love grows in value and in worth.
Besides her own pain, she feels her child's too,
Like theirs is her own, for in essence it is true.

She's fiercer than a lion's pride all combined in one,
Yet, shows understanding when mistakes are done.
Though she may feel disappointed in the short,
In the long run she wavers ever not with her support. 

In her child's best interests she will always choose,
Even if her child's Love is at stake, she could lose.
A Mom's Love is about to always first protect
Even when it means her child may strongly object.

More than just a mother, biologically,
Is required to be a Mom, wholeheartedly.
Mothers do give birth to a life grown within,
But a Mom knows this is only where Love does begin.

When a mother becomes a Mom, she signs on for life,
Welcomes all the joys to come, knowing too, will be strife.
Her treasure chest of memories, all filed with such care,
Not a single memory will she be willing to ever spare.

Moms are special folks with no other quite as dear,
Who, for the challenging role of Mom, do volunteer
Their heart and Love, their life, with conditions never set
And always feeling blessed being Mom with no regret.

Unfortunately, not every mother is a Mom like not every father is a Dad. I've virtually nothing to draw from in regards to knowing what a Dad is but my Mom more than made up for this by being a terrific Mom. Happy Mother' Day! :) ~ Artsie xx
