This is for you on mother's day
Mommies mommies everywhere
Showing how much they care
With each gesture they display
From their heart each night and day
Different ages. Young or old
Their love is worth more than gold
They come single or in pairs
Calming all your scary fears
Happy times they try to give
Every minute that you live
Sharing all the good they know
In each lesson they all show
Thankful for their precious children
In a tight hug they are holdin'
Never wanting to let go
As they watch their baby grow
This is a special dedication
To all mothers through the nation
