I Dream In Poetry Poet I do not know?

Moments of Truth

what are my intentions?
what is it any business of anyone’s?
I could write it out so that a child could understand
yet there will be someone somewhere who still quesions my intentions

my intentions are my owns
and I truly do not need anyones blessings
because I already have blessings from the only one who matters
and only HE knows my heart...
and only he knows my intentions

I could explain myself until I am winded
yet someone is going to try and prove my wrong
saying NO WAY CAN THIS BE DONE
well those who know me best
know that telling me that is just going to make me more determined than ever

this is not some phase
this is not some over night decision I have made
and if no one understands it
that is fine

I am not out to change anyone but myself 
I am not out to convert anyone 
sure I can plant the seeds all around me
and I am sure someone is going to read more into this than they should 

my intentions are my owns
and I truly do not need anyone’s blessings
because I already have blessings from the only one who matters
and only HE knows my heart...
and only HE knows my intentions

and that is all that matters to me
I will go where HE wants me to go and do what HE wants me to do
and I will do it with love and peace.
