Moments of Life

                                        Moments of life, slipping away
                                                  like grains of sand
                                                               to
                                                         yesterday


                                               These moments of life,
                                            scattered shells off the bay
                                                 A sweet gift of love
                                                         From God 
                                                         Every day

                                                     Moments of life
                                                   A grand symphony
                                                  Of notes on the wind
                                                      My soul echoes
                                                              In me

                                                 These moments of life
                                                  I pray that they shine
                                                For in melodies passing
                                                  They live in sublime
                                                

                                                      Moments of life 
                                                Beneath stars that shine
                                             Touched by God's sweetness
                                                    His pure love divine



                                                  These moments of life,
                                                       In heart's review;
                                                                Lord, 
                                                   Each one a precious gift,
                                                             From You

Jerry and I just got back from a fun trip celebrating our 49th wedding anniversary...it just blows my mind how quickly time is passing, and all we have been blessed with. Feeling rather nostalgic as I wrote this poem before we left on a trip making more golden memories! We are doing well, I hope that you and your wife are too :)
