Moments of Gravity

Don’t make promises
It’s easier for you
No verbal dotted line
Come and go as you please

Can’t say a single word
Have no grounds too
You’re so smart, so very smart
But with it
So emotionless
No wonder we float
Like we do- detached
Away we move
Till moments of gravity
Slam us back together
We try very hard to form into one
But us
Stubborn like rocks
We start to crumble
After all this
It becomes harder
To find what we were
Very different from before
No familiar pieces
Only familiar faces
