Moments

A moment in time, just a few moments
There is a glorious sunrise bright red
On the southeastern horizon omens_
Is bad weather ahead; weather for sled?

Above in the sky a small crescent moon
Sunrise and moon share the space, for me joy
Now just a few moments with God commune
Duty calls but those moments can't destroy

"Red sunrise in the morning
Sailors take warning
Red sunset at night
Sailors' delight"
Don't know the author's name

My work sprang from a sunrise Sunday Morning...
We are solid cloudy today...

We should all live for such moments, Sara, especially when the next day brings gloom! You are always being so inspired by things!

I agree that those moments are at times indescribable, so beautiful and grandiose! I surely loved reading this enlightening and brilliant poem this morning! I remember that saying for bad weather that's coming or not, that's exactly the way I remember it too! You have written an incredibly supreme write here my friend! What a dynamic piece, quite the remarkable poem, Great Work!!
